Welcome to the Cosmic Debris Website! & introducing Guy Langlois!
Cosmic Mission Statement
First published in Jan '94 by it's founder Barry Newman.
Cosmic Debris is a Vancouver Island based
live-music entertainment and music-industry reference guide.
The publisher and most of the writers are active musicians.
Formerly a monthly magazine, the last printed issue was published in Oct, 2002.
Our "Concerts & Gigs" section is an extensive guide to concerts, gigs & jams
at over 125 venues (about 500 monthly performances) all over Vancouver Island
and some on the mainland.
"Artist Listings" is a handy listing of nearly 300 of the area's
working bands with their descriptions and contact info.
Online "Services" listings include over 20 pages of handy contacts & resources
for musicians : studios, music shops, guilds, luthiers, amp repair, radio stations ...
"Articles" include selected tributes, concert, artist and CD reviews.
