Helmut Teunissen, singer/songwriter has been living on Vancouver Island since 1974... in the Cowichan Valley since 1993. He likes to write about people, love, troubles, good times, friends etc. Helmuts material is mainly folk, but also includes modern country and rock.
 
In 1990, Billboard rated Helmut's entry 'My Best Friend' in top 10% of over 30,000 submissions!
